The Career Exploration Lab at Miami Valley Career Technology Center provides a hands-on, career exploration and interest assessment for 8th graders attending MVCTC's 27 member schools in the Miami Valley.

The lab, located on MVCTC's campus, has 16 work stations that can accommodate 32 students at one time!




The students have a choice of 18 career clusters to explore. In addition to the hands-on activities, the.students are given guided tours of the MVCTC campus where they see many of the programs "in action."
The 8th grade teachers who accompany their students to the Career Exploration day, will tell you that the students are "energized" by the depth of their experiences and praise the programs for giving hands-on, up-front career experiences.

The visiting 8th grade students evaluate MVCTC's Career Exploration lab and program with words like "cool" and "awesome."
