MVCTC Aspire News - Employers Learn About Employment Law for a Foreign Born Workforce

The Immigrant and Refugee Roundtable committee facilitated, “Employment Law and Special Topics for a Foreign Born Workforce” on June 27, 2019. This session featured three attorneys who are knowledgeable about immigration law. David Larson (Altick & Corwin Co.), Mohamed Al-Hamdani (Al-Hamdani Law), and Karen Bradley (Bradley and Associates/Adjunct Professor, UD Law School/Immigration Clinic Coordinator) shared their expertise on work authorizations, I-9’s, government policies, and other legal issues. As the immigration debate and situation heats up, knowing the laws will be essential to employers trying to navigate the somewhat murky waters. A special thanks to the panelists who took time out of their busy days to share their knowledge on this topic.
