MVCTC Adult Education - Official Sponsor for Apprenticeship

MVCTC has been approved by the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council as a sponsor. As a registered sponsor, MVCTC Adult Education can assist area employers in establishing programs and training for both nonunion and union employers. A Registered Apprenticeship (RA) program provides on-the-job training (OJT) and related technical instruction (RTI) that meet national criteria for safety and quality. To sponsor an RA program, you must have an approved set of operating plans,known as "standards". The Ohio State Apprenticeship Council office (OSAC) is the entity that reviews and approves program standards, thus giving registered status to an apprenticeship program. MVCTC is one of two Ohio Technical Centers who are approved as sponsors by the OSAC. Currently, MVCTC offers related technical training for several area employers.
