Student Requirements/Responsibilities

For a student in the School-to-Apprenticeship Program to be successful certain requirements and responsibilites have been established. These are listed below.

Have successfully completed junior year of career-technical training Have maintained 95% attendance during junior year Have a minimum 2.5 grade point average, during junior year Be on track for graduation Have parental/guardian support to participate in the STA program Demonstrate good citzenship and characteristics Follow regulations and show evidence of self-displine Display dedication and commitment to fulfill all academic and vocational studies while working as a School-to-Apprenticeship student

Receive positive recommendations and references from all instructors Have reliable transportation to and from work, and have a valid driver's license Have been interviewed and accepted by an apprenticeship sponsor Willingness to commit to a 1-5 yr. program
