Savannah Pemberton (Milton Union), Business Ownership, has been chosen as a candidate for Buckeye Girls State. Buckeye Girls State is held on the campus of University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio from June 11th through June 17th, 2017. The objective of the Girls State program is to train young women who have completed their junior year of high school in the duties, privileges, rights, and responsibilities of citizenship. The American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor Savannah and were quite impressed with her.
