MVCTC FFA Public Speaking Career Development Event Results:

03/12/2018

The MVCTC FFA recently held a local Public Speaking Career Development Event contest for FFA Members.  The purpose of the Public Speaking Career Development Event is to develop agricultural leadership by providing FFA members the opportunity to develop oral communication skills through Agricultural Public Speaking activities.  The CDE’s are designed to develop leadership and the ability to appear before groups to promote Agriculture.

Three students were able to move on through the local event and participate in the Sub-District Public Speaking CDE recently held at Tri-Village High School.  Those students were Zach Polster (Brookville), who participated in the Beginning Prepared Speaking contest.  Zach received 2nd at Sub-Districts and will move on to represent MVCTC FFA at the District Public Speaking Contest at Twin Valley South.  Congrats also to Carley Asher (Preble Shawnee), who participated in the Advanced Prepared Public Speaking, and Christina Johnson (Wayne), who participated in the Extemporaneous Contest.  Congratulations and thank you to all of these students who participated.
