MVCTC Preschoolers Go Trick-or-Treating

11/02/2018

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center’s preschoolers, dressed in costume, roamed the school’s halls in search of candy. This event, held on October 31st, is a favorite with students, both young and old. Students from many different programs participated by bringing in candy. The staff also can’t resist seeing the adorable goblins and filling their bags with treats!  “This is definitely a collaborative effort to make sure this is a memorable event for our preschoolers,” said Alicia Newman, PM preschool director.

The MVCTC’s preschool is part of the Early Childhood program. In this program, high school students gain knowledge about child development and learn to design and implement lessons for preschool students. Additionally, students gain experience in the workforce by volunteering and working in the community in various daycare centers.

The MVCTC preschool is a fully licensed preschool, that is open to the public. Registration is currently closed for the 2018-2019 school year. Registration for the 2019-2020 will begin in March.
