MVCTC Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture Department October Students of the Month Recognized

MVCTC EBITA Department Announces October Students of the Month:  The Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture Department at Miami Valley Career Technology Center, in order to honor outstanding accomplishments and leadership in Career Tech Education, is proud to announce the October honorees for the Department’s Career Tech Students of the Month. Keleigh Vogel (Valley View) and Zach Polster (Brookville) were recognized for being outstanding representatives of their respective career tech programs.


 

  • Keleigh Vogel (Valley View) has maintained a 4.0 grade point average during her time in the Business Ownership program at MVCTC.  She placed in the top ten at last year’s BPA state competition and first place in the Miami Valley Tech Prep Showcase at Sinclair Community College.  Instructor Mandy Watts stated, “Keleigh is an exceptional Business Ownership student who maintains a positive attitude and completes her assignments with quality in mind.”


 

  • Zach Polster (Brookville) from the Veterinary Science program is being recognized for his outstanding work ethic.  Dr. Christa Nealeigh stated, “When I was putting the learning goal on the board regarding work ethic, accountability, and responsibility and associated behaviors in fulfilling personal, community, and workplace roles I felt that Zach exemplified these qualities.”  She further elaborated, “Zach represents MVCTC and the Vet Science class with the utmost integrity.”


 

Congratulations to Keleigh and Zach for their outstanding representation of MVCTC and their respective programs.  Special thanks to Hot Head Burrito of Englewood, Ohio for donating gift certificates.
