Diesel Power Technology Class Visits Bane-Welker in Eaton
The Junior Diesel Power Technology class went to Bane-Welker in Eaton, Ohio to learn about careers in an Agricultural Dealership. Students learned about sales, parts, and service. Marvin Epperson, Service Manager, arranged to share those opportunities by having their HR rep present. Students were able to see and talk to the people in each department, as well as ask questions. Each student received either a t-shirt or hat after the tour.
Three of the shop techs were MVCTC Diesel Power Technologies alumni. The service manager is an MCJVS Ag Mechanics grad, and 2 of the three salespeople were CTC/JVS grads from Farm Management and Environmental Science.
