MVCTC Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture Department November Students of the Month Recognized

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture Department is proud to announce the November honorees for the Department’s Career Tech Students of the Month. Amelia Cayabyab (Huber Heights) and Heidi Allan (Tipp City) both recognized for being outstanding representatives of their respective career tech programs.

Amelia Cayabyab (Huber Heights), a student in the Media and Video Production program, taught by Pat Carlisle, recognized for her excellent work and leadership. Amelia displays outstanding initiative and leadership in the classroom.  Mr. Carlisle stated, “Amelia has displayed outstanding leadership in all BPA News and Boot Camp productions.”

Heidi Allan (Tipp City), a student in the Natural Resource Management Program, taught by instructor Joe Beringer, was recognized for her first-place finish out of 200 students at the Montgomery County FFA Urban Soils Contest.  In addition, Heidi helped lead the team at the State Forestry Contest at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio.  Mr. Beringer stated, “Heidi has started the year with great success at our career development events in FFA, and in the classroom!”

Congratulations to Amelia and Heidi for their outstanding accomplishments and representation of MVCTC and their respective programs.  Special thanks to Marion's Piazza of Englewood, Ohio, for donating gift certificates.
