“The City of Brookville Police Department proudly supports its long-term partnership with the students and staff of the Criminal Justice Program. The MVCTC Criminal Justice Program continues to offer support for our many community service projects. Without reservation, their support and commitment to our community has assisted us in fostering an environment of positive social change. For example, the students continue to assist with our annual Veterans Day Lunch at Rob's, Ghostly Night Out at Golden Gate Park, Officer Down 5k Run, traffic control details for large scale events at Brookville Local Schools, Thanksgiving lunch for the Feed Brookville program, and more. Overall, words cannot describe our appreciation for the years of continued support.”

“My partnership with the MVCTC Criminal Justice Program began as I served as a School Resource Officer for the Brookville Local School between 2000-2003. I have served on the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee for approximately 15 years. Additionally, over the past 10 years, I have enjoyed working with MVCTC as a substitute teacher, safety officer, guest instructor, and more.”

“Regarding criminal justice students, I would expect the same level of professionalism that I would expect from one of our sworn police officers. I would also expect them to adhere to the same core values of the City of Brookville Police Department which include excellence, professionalism, honesty, integrity, respect, service, and leadership. Lastly, I feel extremely fortunate to have received many inquiries from past graduates seeking additional career advice, references, assistance, and support as they continue their law enforcement and military careers.”

“Having worked in the public and private sectors for more than 30 years, I have always been impressed with the knowledge and skill set of students who have attended MVCTC. I truly believe that MVCTC provides its students with a positive learning environment while encouraging each student to excel by learning skilled trades which can immediately be used in the work force of their choosing.”
