MVCTC Digital Design Students Earn Industry Certifications
Macey McCannell and Sebastian White, both from Northmont, and Jeremiah Olsen from Twin Valley South earned their Site Development Associate certification, an Ohio Department of Education industry-recognized credential. The certificate provides proof that students have foundational knowledge to develop basic Web sites.
Students in the Digital Design program learned HTML5, CSS, and Javascript while completing the CIW course with hands-on lab projects. While the certification exam is optional, several students opted to take it this year.
Students and industry professionals seeking a career in Web site design or other related areas benefit from earning the Site Development Associate credential.
Edison State Community College and Sinclair Community College extend college credit to students who have earned this certification.
