MVCTC Future Health Professionals Advance to National Competition

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) HOSA Senior and Junior Chapters competed in the HOSA State Virtual  Competition.  The following MVCTC students qualified for the National HOSA Virtual Competition.

 

The Parliamentary Procedure team placed third in the state.   Team members include Katelyn Ellenburg (Medical Lab Assisting/Valley View), Lana Fuller (Medical Lab Assisting/Arcanum –Butler), Maria Garcia-Rodriguez (Medical Lab Assisting/Huber Heights), Makenna Garnett (Medical Lab Assisting/Huber Heights), Tehya Newman (Medical Lab Assisting/Northmont), Gwen Peck (Medical Lab Assisting/Vandalia-Butler), and Aaron Randall (Medical Lab Assisting/Brookville).

 

Malayla Norvell Ingram, Medical Lab Assisting/Northmont, placed 3rd in the Life Support Skills Contest

 

Bethany Weldy, Pre-Nursing/Covington, placed 3rd in the Prepared Speaking Contest
