MVCTC Students Win Regional SkillsUSA Contest Qualify for State

Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) students competed and placed in the Regional SkillsUSA Contest and the following students qualified to compete at the SkillsUSA Ohio Competition on May 3-4, 2022, in Columbus.

  • Advertising Design - Gold Medal Miles Arthur (Graphic Commercial Art/Miamisburg) and Bronze Medal Anthony Jones (Graphic Commercial Art/Miamisburg)
  • Auto Service Technician - Gold Medal Daniel Nottingham (Automotive Technician/Franklin Monroe)
  • Criminal Justice - Gold Medal Jacqulin Mills (Criminal Justice/Eaton)
  • Esthetics - Gold Medal Brooklyn Rieger-Marker (Cosmetology/Twin Valley South) and Silver Medal Harli Taylor (Cosmetology/Valley View)
  • Nail Care Gold Medal Courtney Frost (Cosmetology/Huber Heights)

Junior Malaki Sphar (Graphic Commercial Art/Miami East) represents MVCTC as a Southwest Region SkillsUSA Officer for the 2021-2022 school year.
