MVCTC FFA Chapter Holds First Meeting

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA Chapter held the first meeting of the year on September 25, 2015.  Mr. Niehaus was a guest speaker. He talked about his experiences as an Agriculture Instructor and what he did in FFA.

The 2015-2016 MVCTC FFA Chapter Officers are:

  • Secretary - Keva Cox (Veterinary Science) Valley View
  • Treasurer - Olivia Mt Castle (Veterinary Science) Tri Village
  • Reporter - Abigail Nealeigh (Natural Resource Management) Arcanum
  • Sentinel - Nick Wheeler (Natural Resource Management) Milton-Union
  • Student Advisor - Mickey Martin (Veterinary Science) Northmont

The MVCTC FFA has a very busy year planned for 2015-2016 with students participating in the Montgomery County Soils Judging Career Development Event (CDE), the annual MVCTC FFA Pond Campout in September, field trip to the Farm Science Review, and the Greenhand Conference in September. They will also be getting stuff ready for The Fruit sale, and the Charity Auction coming up.
