MVCTC FFA attends Versailles FFA Color Run

15 members of the MVCTC FFA attended the first ever Versailles FFA Color Run. The run was to raise funds for the National Children’s Hospital.  Every student from the MVCTC who participated helped raise funds for this worthy charity.  15 Members of the FFA ran, with two advisors also participating.  Those students who participated included Lyndsey Carmack, Melissa Sivils, Josie Zamora, Paige Phillips, Daniel Todd, Terasha Barwick-Long, John Williams, Kyle Moore, Colin Cornelius, Ally Griffy, Nicco Libertini, Lydia Pierce, Brittany Dalton, Abigail Nealeigh and Ashley Seibert.  Mr. Mullen and Dr. Nealeigh were the advisors who participated. 

All members ran a great race and three of the participants even won medals.  The medal winners included the 13yr to 18 yr division winner Nicco Libertini, he also won overall. In the 45 yr to 54 yr division Christa Nealeigh got second. In the 55year + division Mike Mullen won.

HEALTH FAIR: In conjunction with the 5K, Versailles FFA also sponsored a health fair inside the old Versailles High School Gym, you could check-out before the race started. There were several different booths with local volunteers for everyone to check out before, after, and during the race.
