BPA Region 3 Winners 2016

Englewood, Ohio -- Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Business Professionals of America (BPA) students performed well at the recent BPA Regional Contests with 72 students winning or placing in the top six for their contest. Of the regional winners, 35 qualified to compete at the State BPA Contest in Columbus March 17-18, 2016.

The following students placed in the top six at the Regional BPA Contest:            

  • YVONNE BARGA, Medical Office Management Senior from Arcanum High School, placed 4th in the Medical Office Procedures BPA Regional Contest.
  • MIKAYLA BARNES, Medical Office Management Junior from Dixie High School, placed 1st in the Basic Office Systems & Procedures BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.
  • AUSTIN BEHNKEN, Business Ownership Junior from Brookville High School, placed 1st in the Global Marketing Team BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.
  • DILLON BONINSEGNA, Media & Video Production Junior from Northmont High School, placed 1st in the Video Production Team BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.
  • CHRISTINA BROWN, Medical Office Management Junior from Wayne High School, placed 5th in the Medical Office Procedures BPA Regional Contest.
  • SAMANTHA BROWN, Medical Office Management Senior from Wayne High School, placed 2nd in the Medical Office Procedures BPA Regional Contest and qualified for the State BPA Contest.

BPA is a national student organization that serves Business and Information Technology students. Members participate in activities that promote leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills, as well as competing in BPA contests related to their career field at the local, regional, state, and national levels.
