Austin Kramer Wins Science Contest at MVCTC

Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) junior Austin Kramer won the Mousetrap Racer Contest in Mr. Tom’s Applied Physics Class.  Austin is a student in the MVCTC Sports Management & Marketing class from Dixie High School.  The contest required students in the Applied Physics class to build cars and then race them against classmates.  Austin’s design won over 85 other competitors.  He was awarded a plaque, matchbox car, and a gift card to Chipotle.

 

For over 40-years, MVCTC has been providing career technical education for 27 partner school districts encompassing five counties in Southwest Ohio.  MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce training for youth, adults, and organizations in the Miami Valley.
