MVCTC 'Pi Miler' 5k Run / Walk

The MVCTC Education Foundation will be holding the 7th Annual "Pi Miler" - 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 10 a.m.

All proceeds for these events will go to the Miami Valley Career Technology Center Education Foundation and are used for MVCTC student scholarships and student assistance. The “Pi Miler” honors our initiative of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), which promotes the need to develop more rigorous math and science knowledge for all students. MVCTC has become an institution where STEM education and initiatives have flourished.

The cost is $15 for MVCTC students or $10 for MVCTC students without receiving the race day shirt. The cost for all others is $25. Pre-registrants will receive a race day t-shirt. Race day registration is $30 with no guarantee of a t-shirt. All pre-registrants will be eligible for door prizes. Packet pick-up and race day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on the Hoke Road Campus in Clayton.

The following divisions will be recognized: Male/Female 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Awards will be given for first place overall male and female and the top three finishers in each age category for both males and females.
