Veterinary Assistant Graduates Employed

Adult Education Veterinary Assistant Program graduates learn to provide compassionate medical care to all animals and promote their well-being by performing multiple tasks under the supervision of veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Veterinary Assistant skills include: assisting with small animal nursing, provide pre and post-operative care, recognize animal behavior norms, collect and prepare laboratory samples, sterilize lab and surgical equipment and communicate with clients. 2019 graduates Christin Chalmers (left) and Chassidy Combs (right) with Veterinary Assistant Instructor, Anne Breden, are both employed already at the Northmont Animal Clinic!
