Englewood, OH – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Adult Education is proud of the most recent Electrical, HVAC-R, Precision Machining, and Veterinary Assistant graduates! On October 9, 2019, MVCTC recognized the 14 graduates of these in-demand programs. The graduates received their MVCTC Career Passport in front of family, friends, and staff members during the ceremony held at MVCTC.
Electrical graduates are:
In the Electrician program, students learn basic instruction and practical lab experience to prepare students for employment in electrical trades. Electricians may choose to work in residential, commercial and/or industrial electrical construction.The next MVCTC Electrician program starts April 7, 2020. This program is 68-weeks in length with financial aid available for those that qualify.
HVAC-R graduates are:
The HVAC-R Technician program trains technicians to install, maintain, and repair residential, and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.The next MVCTC Adult Education HVAC-R program starts April 7, 2020. This program is 54-weeks in length with financial aid available for those that qualify.
Precision Machining graduates are:
The Precision Machining program offers a broad training experience that prepares individuals for employment in the precision manufacturing industry. Students will also have the opportunity to see the application of robotics and advanced manufacturing and learn FANUC, Kuka, and Yaskawa robotics. The next MVCTC Adult Education Precision Machining program starts April 7, 2020. This program is 54-weeks in length with financial aid available for those that qualify.
Veterinary Assistant graduates are:
In the Veterinary Assistant program, graduates learn to provide compassionate medical care to all animals and promote their well-being by performing multiple tasks under the supervision of veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Veterinary Assistant skills include: assisting with small animal nursing, provide pre and post-operative care, recognize animal behavior norms, collect and prepare laboratory samples, sterilize lab and surgical equipment and communicate with clients. The next MVCTC Adult Education Veterinary Assistant program starts January 6, 2020. This program is 36-weeks in length with financial aid available for those that qualify.
