Interested in joining the health care world, but don’t know where to start? How about Ophthalmic Assisting? Not sure what that is? Ophthalmic Assistants provide eye care to patients and work alongside Ophthalmologists. The MVCTC Eye Care program for certification is only 10 months long, and when you graduate you will have the chance to start out making around $15 an hour, typically without working evenings, weekends, or holidays!
