DENTAL ASSISTING

Classes start August 9, 2021 / 34 weeks / $7,360 - Prepare for employment as a Dental Assistant performing a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties.

 

ELECTRICIAN

Classes start September 7, 2021 / 68 weeks / $13,190 - Prepare for employment in electrical trades, by gaining knowledge to work in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical construction.

 

EYE CARE / OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT

Classes start September 27, 2021 / 44 weeks / $7,885 - Learn to provide quality eye care to patients including obtaining vision measurements for glasses, administering eye exercises, taking medical histories, providing contact lens instruction, conducting diagnostic tests, and learning office management procedures. Prepare for the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Examination.


HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS

Classes start September 7, 2021 / 60 weeks / $14,600 - Learn technical knowledge and skills to operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment. The mission is to prepare students for employment and to become leaders in the heavy equipment and construction industry with high standards.

 

HVAC-R TECHNICIAN

Classes start September 7, 2021  / 54 Weeks / $11,360 - Gain knowledge to install, maintain, and repair residential, and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Prepare for I.C.E. and EPA 608 Air Condition & Refrigeration Certification exams.

 

 

PRACTICAL NURSING

Classes start May 3, 2021, and August 2, 2021 / 44 Weeks / $17,150 - Prepare to become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). At the completion of the program, graduates meet training qualifications to be eligible for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). 

 

PRECISION MACHINING

Classes start September 7, 2021 / 54 weeks / $11,690 - Prepare for employment in the precision manufacturing industry. Students will also have the opportunity to see the application of robotics and advanced manufacturing and learn FANUC, Kuka, and Yaskawa Robotics. Obtain Robotics Industrial Certification.

  1. First: Call the Adult Education Office at 937-854-6297 to schedule your free entrance test. 
  2. Second: Complete a three-part assessment, ACT WorkKeys (allow 3 1/2 hours for the assessment). 
  3. Third: Schedule a meeting with an Adult Counselor to discuss your WorkKeys results and your preference in Career Program offerings.

Financial aid is available for Adult Education Career Programs for those who qualify. Information and FAFSA assistance is provided.
