June 8, MVCTC Practical Nursing Graduation

06/13/2016

Approximately twelve months ago, the graduates of the 2016 MVCTC Practical Nursing Class began their journey.  Class speaker, Shannon Helser, stated, "For many of us, this program is a game changer."  She emphasized that the program was not for the faint of heart and required a passion to care for others.  Graduate Josh Gambrel received the Faculty Award and was recognized for perfect attendance.  Emily Hauser and Jessica Martin were recognized for the highest cumulative grade point averages.

The next step for the class members will be to pass the exam to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Thanks to the graduates for choosing MVCTC Adult Education to begin their career in healthcare.  The faculty and staff of MVCTC wish each of them success in employment.

Shannon Helser's closing words charged her fellow graduates to remember to always make someone's life better and to treat patients the way they would want their loved one to be treated.
