Description
Qualifications
Must have a warm, kind, driven, team playing spirit, driven, motivated, and polite personality, to exercise empathy and compassion as it relates to the needs of others and must be able to relate well to children and their parents and/or guardians. Must be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Center’s program and philosophy, along with compliance of all governmental parameters. Be professionally prepared as an administrator specializing in the needs of a field of early childhood education and/or child development; meeting the requirements of licensing agencies and accrediting organizations. Must be 18 years old.
Minimum Education Requirement
Must be a current college student in good academic standing, attending a local higher learning institution and working towards a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, and/or Business Administration.
Working Hours
Must be a current student with the availability to work 30 – 35 hours per week.
Paycor Onboarding and Prior to Working
o Must successfully pass the all state and federal background checks associated with working in Early Childhood Education.
o Must complete all Paycor Onboarding steps prior to official hire date.
o Must provide all of the necessary information and/or documentation prior to hire date
o Must complete the required Ohio medical health and safety form provided to physician for completion, prior to date of hire.

o Extensive knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood, or learn with a reasonable amount of time.

o Have the ability to comply with all federal, state, and local guidelines as it relates to early childhood education

o Have the ability to navigate digital technology software
o Must be willing to facilitate in in the class rooms as needed to cover vacations and/or any other leave, relieve teachers for breaks
o Must be willing to facilitate in providing breakfast, lunch, and or snacks in absence of culinary staff
o Must exemplify a polite, respectful, courteous, and professional disposition to students/children, parents, guardians, and fellow staff members at all times
o Must be willing to aid in cleaning duties as needed
Skills

o Must attend all meetings and all professional development that do not conflict with program coursework and/or student required activities
o Must complete all OCCRA Training required to be in ratio within 30 calendar days from the date of hire and to complete other licensing safety requirements, and professional development by required due date(s)
o Must be able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Adobe, Brightwheel, OCCRA, and other varied software programs and/or applications or willing to learn to use for functionality of the position
o Must be able to answer the phone, relay messages, make copies, scan, print, and email
o Journal payments and complete receipt of payment(s)
o Review work schedules to determine coverage and work schedules and conform to work schedule
o Draft, compile, and arrange documents for parents, teachers, and other administrative purposes
o Ability to develop a good rapport with children, parents, and co-workers

o Must have reliable transportation and/or means of transportation to attend work.
Dress Code
o Dress/appearance must be neat, clean, well groomed, professional and appropriate and aligned with an office administrator
o Business casual is the dress code for this position

12-15 Hours per week.

$15.00 per hour
