Description

We are looking for a highly motivated person that is dependable and will to learn. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants hands-on experience in a working shop environment.

Skills

Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols. Operate industrial fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, press brakes, shears, and drill presses. Fit-Up & Assembly. Weld metal components together in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or Stick (SMAW) processes. Inspect finished welds and structures for defects, cracks, or warping. Use angle grinders, wire wheels, and sanding tools to clean and smooth welded surfaces ready for paint or coating. Safely operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, jib lifts, and forklifts to move heavy steel frameworks. Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot welding rigs, torches, and shop machines to prevent safety hazards.

Days / Hours

7 am to 3:30 pm. Monday- Friday

Pay Range & Benefits

Pay starts between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour. Over time is paid after 40 hours. We offer health insurance and PTO.
