National Trail MVCTC Agricultural Education Department

12/13/2017

Hello FFA Members and Supporters,

Thank you to all of our FFA members, Alumni members and parents who assisted with the Bags of Hope Program! We were able to pack 500 bags that contained two recipes and all of the ingredients to make two hot dishes for local Preble County families. The majority of the bags have been distributed in Preble County. We have a few bags left if you know of any families who could use a bag we would be glad to donate it to them. The Register Herald did attend the event and have published a really nice article about our FFA Chapter.

Congratulations to our two Parliamentary Procedure teams! Our Advanced team placed first at the sub district contest and our Novice team placed second. Both teams will be competing Wednesday evening in the District Contest at Ft. Loramie.

Fruit sales Thank you to all of our members who have contributed to our Chapter fundraiser and sold fruit. The fruit is scheduled to arrive December 11th. Once we get a confirmation from the shipping company we will send out more information about times for fruit pick up.

We will be collecting toys for Preble County Christmas for Kids this year.  We will collect toys and books for children; ages newborn to 17 years old until December 7th.  You can drop off items at the National Trail Agriculture Department and your donations in the shop under the Christmas tree.  This will be a competition in the county with the other FFA chapters again this year.

November 29, 2017 at 6:00-8:00 PM will be our first General Livestock Judging practice. Our General Livestock team is coached by Chad and Mindy Ward.
