Tri-Village MVCTC FFA Members Participate in Job Interview Contest

On November 10, 2014, the Tri-Village MVCTC FFA members competed in the County FFA Job Interview contest.   The Job Interview Contest is designed for FFA members to practice and demonstrate the skills needed in seeking employment in all areas of agriculture.  Each part of this event simulates real world experiences that students will have when seeking employment.  

Before the contest the members created a cover letter, resume, and references sheet to be used at the contest.   During the contest members completed an application, an in person interview and follow up thank you letter. 

The contest was broken into grade divisions.  For the Freshman Division, Kara Hollinger, represented the chapter and won the division and advanced to the district contest.   For the Sophomore Division, Grant Flory, represented the Chapter.  For the Junior Division, Riley Hollinger and Wesley Murphy, represented the chapter and Wesley placed 2nd to advanced to the District Contest.   For the Senior Division, Jenna Cline,represented the chapter and placed 2nd to advance to the district contest.    Kara, Wesley, and Jenna all represented the chapter well on November 19th at the district contest in Brookville.
