Miami East-MVCTC FFA Career Development Event Teams Complete Busy Judging Season

The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter members wrapped up a spring season of Career Development Events. A special thank you goes to Jackie Winner and several parents for coordinating many of the students competing. Teams completed at several invitations.

 

On March 22 at the Mercer County Invitational in Celina the Equine Management Team consisted of Casey Copeland and Aly Jordan. Casey Copeland placed 11 out of 155 overall in the contest. The General Livestock Judging Team placed 16 out of 57 teams. Team members were Adam Bensman, Libby Carpenter, Dustin Winner, Samuel Sutherly, Katelynn Wallace, Isaac Beal, and Jarrett Winner. The highest individual from Miami East was Libby Carpenter who placed 34 out of 278 individuals.

 

On March 16 at the Miami Trace Invitational in Washington Courthouse, the Livestock Judging Team consisted of Adam Bensman, Dustin Winner, Isaac Beal, Jarrett Winner, Katelynn Wallace, and Samuel Sutherly. The team placed 31. Adam Bensman was the highest placing individual from Miami East.

 

On March 7 at the Marysville/Champaign County Invitational in Marysville Livestock Judging Team placed 49 and the highest placing individual was Dustin Winner. The team consisted of Austin Etherington, Dustin Winner, Isaac Beal, Jarrett Winner, Katelynn Wallace, Lauren Wright, and Libby Carpenter.
