1.  Has Adult Education reopened?

  • Yes.  we are operating under the current guidelines from Governor Dewine and following Dr. Weldy's instructions for the District.  Our offices are open from 8 am - 4 pm Monday through Friday.  Call 937-854-6297 for information.

2.  Will classes be online or in person?

  • Depending on the program, classes will likely be a hybrid of in person and online.
  • Central Service Sterle Processing Technician: Due to the inability to secure Internship sites, classes have not resumed.  For information, call 937-854-6051.
  • Skilled Trades programs: Program Coordinator, Mike Sizemore, is working with instructors to decide how best to serve currently enrolled students.  Mike can be contacted at msizemore@mvctc.com.
  • Short term classes:  As of this writing, short term classes are temporarily postponed.  

    Students who were enrolled in the current Phlebotomy classes that began February 24 or 25 should contact Anne Shearer, ashearer@mvctc.com.  A message can also be left at 937-854-6085.  Thank you for your patience during this time. 

  • Aspire:  Classes are currently being offered in an online format.  Please contact Linda Bumiller at lbumiller@mvctc.com for more information.

3. How can I get a message to my instructor or the program coordinator?

4.  Is the program I planned to start in the fall going to be delayed?

Answer:   Potential students can contact Mike Sizemore, Trade and Industry Coordinator, at msizemore@mvctc.com for more information about the Trades or Stephanie Benson, Health Occupations Coordinator, sbenson@mvctc.com for Healthcare. 

The Practical Nursing class that is scheduled to begin in May will be delayed. A new start date has been establishe\d for the 12 month Program.  Ausust for those needing Nurse Aide and September for the rest of the cohort. Please contact Stephanie Benson, Health Occupations Coordinator, at sbenson@mvctc.com with any questions you may have.
