MVCTC Adult Education co-sponsoring an ophthalmic assistant educational meeting with the Dayton Area Society of Ophthalmology

Miami Valley CTC is excited to announce we are co-sponsoring an ophthalmic assistant educational meeting with the Dayton Area Society of Ophthalmology.  The program is being held Nov. 2, 2019, at MVCTC Adult Ed building and is expected to have 90 eye care professionals in attendance.  Ophthalmology is the medical/surgical side of eye care.  MVCTC is one of the few schools to offer an ophthalmic assisting program that is accredited by the International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO) which oversees accrediting ophthalmic assistant programs across the world.  Ophthalmic medical assisting is one of the fastest-growing professions and has very high employment rates and pay rates. 

MVCTC is proud to offer the Eye Care/Ophthalmic Assistant program.
