MVCTC Alumni Success Story - Samantha Ward Proffitt Early Childhood Education Class of 2007 from Northridge.
Samantha attended Sinclair, University of Toledo, and Wright State to earn her bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is now working as a Financial Advisor at Miami Valley Hospital.
How did MCJVS/MVCTC help you to be successful? "It gave me a head start in my career as an educator. With the support and encouragement of my teachers, I was able to become a successful and confident teacher. I worked for eight years as a lead teacher in an infant daycare/headstart and then owned an in-home daycare for five years. Even though I have since then switched careers, I still loved my time as an educator, and it has made me who I am today. I wouldn't have had the opportunities I had in high school if I did not attend MVCTC."
