MVCTC Alumni Success Story  - Alayna Donaldson Allied Health Tech Prep Class of 2016 from Brookville.

Alayna attended Kettering College of Medical Arts and Liberty University to earn her bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration. She is employed as a Physician Recruiter with Monterey Consultants.

Alayna shared, "I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare. I went to college right after graduation for nursing. I was two semesters away from graduation when my then-boyfriend, now-husband, decided to join the military. He was stationed in Washington state, and we didn't want to do long-distance anymore. I ended up changing my major to healthcare administration and graduated from Liberty University Online in 2019. At that point, we were moving to Texas and pregnant with our first child. I worked as a hospice intake coordinator for two years in Texas and LOVED working in hospice. In August of 2021, I got offered a job back in Dayton that was an amazing offer. We moved home to Ohio, where we plan on being forever when my husband gets out of the military. I am now working as a physician recruiter."

How did MCJVS/MVCTC help you to be successful? "I loved my experience with MVCTC and recommended it to everyone. The healthcare knowledge that I learned was so helpful in my professional career. I still use Dean Vaughn to this day for medical terminology. My teachers were more like mentors and have become friends."
