Mitzi Hayes-Marshall, Accounting Class of 1988

Englewood, Ohio – Mitzi Hayes-Marshall started at the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School (MCJVS) in 1986 as a junior Accounting student, and found a career and a passion.  Mitzi said, “I Enjoyed the Accounting field ever since the first day of school at Miami Valley, and have been in the profession ever since.”

 A graduate of Tri-Village High School and MVJVS/MVCTC, Mitzi is now a Certified Public Accountant having passed all parts of the Certified Public Accountant test on her first attempt. Mitzi shared, “I took the GRE test and passed, took the test at Ohio Accountancy Board and passed, then was allowed to sit for CPA exam based on knowledge gained from MCJVS/MVCTC.”

Mitzi currently owns her own Public Accounting Practice in Darke County and is an Enrolled Agent - Licensed by the Internal Revenue Service.

 Mitzi shared the following about how MCJVS/MVCTC helped her to be successful, “MVJVS taught me the basics and gave me my first job opportunity in which I stayed with for the first four years of the adulthood. It also allowed me to have education opportunities and gave me the opportunities to further my career. I would not be in the position I am without the MCJVS/MVCTC, Mrs. Kristy Taylor, and the other quality teachers of the school.”
