"MVCTC was the starting point of my career. My instructors were amazing and taught me so much about graphic design and took extra time to mentor us about becoming better individuals outside of our careers. I had always debated about going into the medical field versus following my passion for art. Jack Spitler and Lisa Hetzer helped build my confidence in graphic design by pushing me to do my best, and encouraging me when I entered different design competitions. From learning how to really work hard, to the experiences I gained from participating in SkillsUSA, to the friendships I made across campus, I left MVCTC with the knowledge to put me ahead of my peers. I still keep in touch with several people that I met while at CTC, and even graduated college with several of my classmates from lab. I graduated from MVCTC with confidence and knowledge, and as a well-rounded young adult ready to start my career – and I can't thank this school and it's staff enough."
