1996 Graphic Commercial Art Alumnus, Bruce Hughes of Trotwood-Madison, used his MVCTC training to create a rewarding career!  Bruce attended the School of Advertising art and graduated in 1998.  He has received multiple bronze Hermes Awards over the years,  two Alphas from ABC Television, and three merits of recognition from both Sinclair Broadcasting and Reynolds & Reynolds.  Bruce was nominated as the Best Local Artist by the City of Dayton in 2015 and finished second in the online poll.

Bruce is currently a Visual Development Artist at Reynolds & Reynolds. He writes, designs, illustrates, storyboards, shoots, animates, edits and has even starred in videos showcasing the business to business solutions to an international market.

"Without the MVCTC I would have never ever considered that I might have the talent to make it thru art school, let alone be able to have a career in the visual arts. The Commercial Art program helped my find myself as well as my talents. I thank/blame them for who I am today!"
