“I always dreamed of being a nurse.  I was married with one child and pregnant with my second child, at the time and working as an admissions assistant for a local assisted living community,” said Rebecca Engleka. “ The Licensed Practical Nurse program at MVCTC, was perfect for me.”

Rebecca completed the MVCTC Adult Education LPN program in 2000 and went on to work for many years as an LPN in the skilled nursing and rehab sector.  She became a unit manager and wound nurse. Acquired her RN and Wound Care Certification. Then moved up into corporate quality assurance, with Miami Valley Hospital and is now the Regional Director of Clinical Services in Ohio for Trio Healthcare.

Rebecca stated, “I knew when I graduated that I could be a great nurse, because of MVCTC’s program and expectations.  They prepared me well and instilled a professional and responsible work ethic in all of the students I graduated with.  MVCTC provided me with the foundation for my nursing career, with their exceptional program, mentors, and support. I am a proud alumnus of MVCTC!”
