Description
BarryStaff is currently looking 5-7 CNC Machine Operators, lathe Operators and Grinders on 2nd and 3rd shifts for various companies. Must have experience running CNC machines, or mills and lathes. Previous experience using micrometers and calipers is needed. Must have good math skills. Grinders, drill press and punch press operators will be considered as well.
Lathe Operators : These positions involve being trained to run a CNC grinding machine, lathe, horizontal mill or cut off machine. This position requires you to stand/walk the entire shift. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Hours will vary at each company. Steel toed boots are required for all positions.
Skills
-Being able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
-Previous CNC or Lathe Experience
-Experience using micrometers and calipers
-Good math skills
Days / Hours
2nd shift:
3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday
OR
2:30pm-3:30am Monday-Thursday
OR
2:30pm-11pm Monday- Friday
3rd shift:
11pm-7:30am Sunday-Thursday night
OR
10pm-6:30am Sunday-Thursday night
Some positions require you to train on 1st shift for a couple of weeks to start out.
Pay Range & Benefits
$18-21.50/hr.
These are 90 day temp to hire positions.
