Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) proudly announces the Valedictorians and Salutatorian for the Class of 2025. These outstanding students have demonstrated excellence in their career-technical programs, academics, and leadership activities, representing the best of MVCTC's mission to prepare students for future success.
Antonio Duran, Health Occupations, Tipp City
Antonio Duran achieved Valedictorian honors from Tipp City as well. Before moving to Ohio, Antonio was a Spanish school news anchor and placed second in the world at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making. He completed an Associate Degree in Science through Sinclair's CCP program with High Honors. At MVCTC, he served as a HOSA Vice President, Student Ambassador, and Health Occupations Advisory Committee member. Antonio works at Miami Valley Hospital as a Patient Care Technician and has earned over $500,000 in scholarship offers. He plans to attend Wright State University to major in Biochemistry and Microbiology, with the goal of pursuing medical school to become an Obstetric Anesthesiologist.
Mercedes Eichelberger, Pre-Law & Legal Studies, Arcanum-Butler
Mercedes Eichelberger participated in the Academic Team and Drama Club at Arcanum-Butler and participated in the MVCTC OCLRE Mock Trial Team. Mercedes plans to attend Sinclair Community College to pursue a degree in the Paralegal Program.
Jacob Holland, Welding, Brookville
Jacob Holland, a Brookville senior, participated in Wrestling throughout high school. He completed his Welding program while working at Rob's Welding Technologies. Jacob is considering a future in the military after graduation.
Grant Howell, Welding, Tri-Village
Grant Howell, an active baseball, football, powerlifting, and FFA member at Tri-Village, earned Valedictorian honors at MVCTC and his partner school. Involved with the National Technical Honor Society and SkillsUSA, Grant worked at Cleary Machine Co. He earned the MVCTC Superintendent Scholarship and the Tri-Village MVCTC FFA Alumni Scholarship. Grant plans to pursue college to become an agriculture teacher.
Hayden Jones, Aviation Maintenance Technician, Brookville
Hayden Jones participated in Wrestling and HOPE Squad and competed with SkillsUSA. He was named Salutatorian of his class at Brookville. He plans to enter the workforce after graduation.
Jackson Kleismit, Sports Management & Marketing, Brookville
Jackson Kleismit played on the golf team and was active in the HOPE Squad at Brookville. He participated in Business Professionals of America (BPA), Student Ambassadors, and the National Technical Honor Society at MVCTC. Jackson will attend The Ohio State University to major in Sports Management.
Albert Lamb, Architectural Design, New Lebanon
Albert Lamb played soccer and participated on the Academic Team at Dixie High School. He gained valuable hands-on experience working for Ferguson Construction Company while attending MVCTC. Albert plans to attend college following graduation.
Ellie Larkins, Veterinary Science, Bethel
Ellie Larkins was named Valedictorian at Bethel as well. She was involved in varsity softball, JV basketball, HOPE Squad, FCA, Student Council, and Spanish Club at Bethel. She participated in FFA at MVCTC and earned multiple scholarships, including the RedHawk Excellence Scholarship and Treva and Robert Sidle Scholarship. Ellie will attend Miami University to major in Nursing.
Kora Lykins, Early Childhood Education, Tri-County North
Kora Lykins participated in varsity softball, volleyball, cheerleading, student council, NHS, Rotary Scholars, and Spanish Club at Tri-County North. She was involved in the National Technical Honor Society and FCCLA and worked as an assistant teacher at Little Angels Daycare & Preschool while attending MVCTC. Kora earned the Governor's Merit Scholarship and the Thursday Night Lights Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. She plans to attend either The Ohio State University or Wright State University, majoring in Healthcare Administration.
Jacey McQueen, Pre-Law & Legal Studies, Eaton
Jacey McQueen was active in Hope Squad, SADD, NHS, Track and Field, Swim Team, and the band programs at Eaton. At MVCTC, she competed in BPA, reaching the state level both years and excelled on the OCLRE Mock Trial Team, winning "Best Witness" awards. She also joined the National Technical Honor Society and worked at Opti-Vise IT. Jacey will attend the University of the Cumberlands, majoring in Ministry and Business Administration.
Lillian Mihelcic, Architectural Design, Bethel
Lillian Mihelcic was named Valedictorian at Bethel as well. She participated in softball, marching and concert band, choir, musical theater, and Spanish Club at Bethel. She competed in SkillsUSA and was a member of NTHS at MVCTC. Lillian earned scholarships such as the Cincinnatus Century Scholarship. She plans to study Architectural Engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
Zackary Miller, Pre-Engineering, Preble Shawnee
Zackary Miller participated in the National Honor Society, FFA, and junior varsity baseball at Preble Shawnee. He competed with SkillsUSA at MVCTC and earned scholarships, including the RedHawk Excellence Award. Zackary will attend Miami University to major in Electrical Engineering.
Emma Perkins, Digital Design, New Lebanon
Emma Perkins balanced school and work, employed at Anthropologie during her senior year. She will attend Sinclair College, majoring in Business Administration.
Telisah Bray-Harris, Biotechnology, Miamisburg
Telisah Bray-Harris participated in the Academic Team, GSA, Needle Arts Club, Esports, and the STEM Club at Miamisburg. At MVCTC she was involved in HOSA, District 10 & the State Science Day, the NASA HUNCH project, and the National Technical Honor Society. Telisah earned scholarships including the Presidential Scholarship from Sinclair Community College, the National Technical Honor Society Scholarship, and the Education Foundation Department Scholarship. She plans to continue her education at Sinclair College.
