MVCTC SkillsUSA Chapter 3 Holds First Meeting

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) SkillsUSA Chapter 3 held the first meeting of the year on September 22, 2016.  Officer Larry Lane was the guest speaker. He discussed achieving your career goals and how all of your choices effect your goals.

 

The 2016-2017 MVCTC FFA Chapter Officers are:

  • President – Matthew Baldwin (Firefighting and EMS) West Carrolton
  • Vice-President – Wyatt Croucher (Robotics and Automation) Tri-County North
  • Secretary – Kylie Furlong (Criminal Justice) Franklin Monroe
  • Treasurer - Colton Schroer (Robotics) Valley View
  • Parliamentarian - Chloe Casto-Clemons (Criminal Justice) Franklin Monroe
  • Historian – Pheonix Lewis-Sanders (Criminal Justice) Northridge

 

The MVCTC SkillsUSA Chapter 3 has a busy schedule for 2016-2017. Upcoming is the annual Fall Conference on November 3rd and 4th. The Skills 3 Division teamed up with Division 2 to complete a board about Mental Illness Awareness for the month, as well. According to the Skills USA website, “SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.”
