MVCTC Observes Veterans Day

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) held the annual observance of Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, 2016. Staff and students across the school contributed to this meaningful and moving day. Among the activities scheduled:

  • A reveille performed by the Firefighter/EMS Honor Guard at 9 a.m.
  • Posters and videos were shared honoring the many MVCTC Staff members that served in the U.S. Military
  • Various bulletin boards around school displayed signs and pictures explaining and celebrating Veterans Day
  • Teachers presented special Veterans Day lessons

 

Academics Supervisor, Mr. Eric Dolan organized all events scheduled at MVCTC on Veterans Day. The MVCTC staff does a wonderful job of honoring our veterans and encouraging the entire school to be involved in observing Veterans Day.

 

For over 45-years, MVCTC has been providing career technical education for 27 partner school districts encompassing five counties in Southwest Ohio.  MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce training for youth, adults, and organizations in the Miami Valley.
