Englewood, Ohio -  During this week of February 6-10, 2017, Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) celebrated Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Week. During this week various events were planned around campus to celebrate CTSO week, this included Dress-up days and the Chain of Love Challenge to raise money for Special Olympics.

The MVCTC FFA Chapter held a meeting on February 8, that included a Chapter Degree ceremony with awards for those who qualified for the FFA Chapter Degree. In order to receive the Chapter Degree pin, students had to have been active members in the chapter and have proven themselves worthy of gaining their Chapter Degree. The meeting also included a visit from Ronald McDonald House Charities representative Karen Hunt and a special visit from Ronald McDonald himself to thank the chapter for donating over $7,000 this year during the annual charity auction. FFA Officers also discussed upcoming events such at the public speaking competitive event that will be held at  MVCTC, CTSO week events, the Valley Edge snow tubing event, equine judging CDE, and livestock judging CDE.
