Alumni Spotlight - Shawna Sorrell, 2011 Legal Assistant, Carlisle
2011 MVCTC Legal Assistant Alumnus, Shawna Sorrell, is an associate with Taft, Stettinius, and Hollister in Dayton and preparing to take the Bar Exam.
Sorrell earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015 from Wright State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Dayton School of Law - Juris Doctor in 2018.
Sorrell stated, "The most helpful thing I learned from MVCTC was the importance of networking and how to present myself in a professional manner. These are two invaluable tools that will help anyone succeed. Additionally, both Mrs. Watts and Mrs. Haws provided unwavering support and encouragement to all of their students. They certainly had an effect in awakening my drive to succeed in my future endeavors."
