MVCTC Graphic Commercial Photography Class of 2021 Elects Officers
The class election took place in Mr. Bakers Jr. photography lab on the 11th of September. The purpose of this election was to install officers in the class. Students were nominated just two days before the class election. If the student wanted the role of President, Vice President, Secretary, Reporter, Treasure, and Ambassador, they wrote and gave a speech to the class. There were some great speech’s given by the students. Mr. Baker said “this group of students did a wonderful job stepping up to the challenge and running for class office” and “All nominees presented great speeches and voting was close for all positions.” As I watched the election happen and being part of it, students got up with confidence and got out of their comfort zones. They stood up and gave very convincing speech’s and told us all why they should get the roles that they wanted.
The students that were elected are Paige Brandner (Preble Shawnee) president, Anthony Nickles(Arcanum Butler) vice president, Brooke Lavy (Franklin Monroe) secretary, Elizabeth Matheny (Vandalia Butler) treasurer, Alaina Sanger (Wayne) reporter, and Kassie Walter (National Trail) ambassador.
