MVCTC FFA Students Compete in Job Interview Contest

Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career TEchnolgoy Center (MVCTC) FFA Members competed in the recent Job Interview Contest.  The Ohio Job Interview CDE is designed for FFA members to practice and demonstrate the skills needed in seeking employment in all areas of agriculture. Each part of this event simulates real-world experiences that students will have when seeking employment in the future.

Participants included Veterinary Science students: Jayla Denlinger (Twin Valley South), Alex Hayes (Miami East), Tori Hinkle (Miamisburg), and Katelyn Redick (Miamisburg).

Natural Resources student Josiah Kirchhofer (Brookville).

Diesel Power Technologies students Michael Franz (Bethel) and Dani Kemper (Miamisburg).

Agriculture and Livestock Production students: Brianna Smith (Eaton) and Kiley Oberer (Miamisburg).

Results are still pending but Congratulations to these students for participating

According to the National FFA website, “The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.”

For over 45-years, MVCTC has been providing career technical education for 27 partner school districts encompassing five counties in Southwest Ohio.  MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce training for youth, adults, and organizations in the Miami Valley.
