Diesel Power Technologies senior, Thomas Walters has had much success while attending Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC). Thomas earned 3rd place at the Ohio FFA Agricultural Mechanical Skills 2018-2019 contest, second place individual FFA Agricultural Mechanical Skills 2018-2019 contest, and has represented MVCTC as a Student Ambassador. He has also earned college credits from Clark State University and a job at Creekview Farms while attending MVCTC.
Thomas shared, “MVCTC helped me to be successful by teaching me everything I need to know to become a Diesel Mechanic. I currently work as an AG Serviceman, and the things that my career program has taught me, such as large engine repair, and the skills I learned from my competitions, all help me every day in my career.”
Thomas will graduate this spring from New Lebanon Schools.
