11/15/2019

Englewood, Ohio – Mr. Ira Segalewitz, Holocaust survivor and United States veteran of the Korean Conflict, gave a very special presentation to Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) seniors on Friday, November 15, 2019.  Mr. Segalewitz shared his harrowing experiences during World War II and how he and his mother survived extraordinary situations. He asked students to remember these three things at the end of his very moving presentation, “1) Don’t be a bystander, if you see something wrong, report it. 2) Bad things happen in life, you move on. 3) Learn, learn, learn!  Get a good education, continue your education and always do your best.”

Dedicated to providing premier educational choices and advanced employment preparation for youth, adults, and organizations, MVCTC has proudly served the Miami Valley since 1971.
