MVCTC Health and Consumer Science Students Recognized as November Students of the Month

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Health and Consumer Science department is proud to recognize students of the month for November 2019, Jaya Johnson (Health Occupations/Huber Heights), Parker Lenski (Culinary Arts/Miamisburg), and Morgan Miller (Medical Lab Assisting/Valley View).  

Jaya Johnson is a junior student in the Health Occupations Program. Jaya is a leader within her program and is always giving 100% effort. Jaya has a 4.0 GPA for the 1st quarter and has obtained perfect attendance. Mrs. Deeter, her program instructor, states, “Jaya is very caring, and she exemplifies the character traits that are necessary for being in the health care field.”

Parker Lenski is a senior student in the Culinary Arts Program. He recently attended the FCCLA Leadership Camp where he showed great leadership and kindness towards others. Mrs. Newbourn, his FCCLA Advisor, stated, “Parker is an amazing all-around student. He reached out to a student that was by himself and made him feel like part of the group.”

Morgan Miller is a senior student in the Medical Lab Assisting program. Morgan has a 4.0 GPA for the 1st quarter and has maintained excellent attendance. Mrs. Wathen, her program instructor, stated, “Morgan is always striving to do her best in everything she takes on. She is always willing to help out a classmate in a time of need.”
