MVCTC SkillsUSA Chapter 3 Welcomes Guest Speakers from WPAFB
Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) SkillsUSA Chapter 3 held the November meeting on November 5, 2019, and discussed the SkillsUSA OhioFall Conference along with other opportunities for students such as the future SkillsUSA competitions. The meeting began with congratulations to all the regional officer candidates and explanations of the different contests that will be happening in 2020. This was followed by guest speakers from Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Staff Sargent Tanner Roberts, Captain Kirk Buggert, and Firefighter Ben Cully. The guest speakers shared their career paths in law enforcement and firefighting with students and answered questions about being a WPAFB employee.
