MVCTC Early Childhood Education Students Earn Industry Credential

Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC)  Early Childhood Education Class of 2020 recently earned their Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.  The CDA is the most widely recognized credential in the early childhood education (ECE) field and is a key stepping stone on the path of career advancement in ECE. To earn this credential, students completed over 120 education hours, over 400 contact hours working with children, and passed an exam. They also compiled a professional portfolio, detailing their knowledge of child development and current best practices.
